Wipro Technologies support Flare’s E&P Catalog Application for one Multinational Oil Company
One large multinational oil company uses Wipro Technologies for Flare’s E&P Catalog global application support and system/database administration.
They provide around the clock support to all global locations and thousands of users from their Bangalore office in India.
E&P Catalog is used to support the capturing of (and searching for) mandatory deliverables for Exploration, Appraisal, Field Development and Geomatics (Maps). One key aspect is it’s built-in oil and gas ontology of thousands of keywords and relations. This meets the need of subsurface teams and Records Management compliance. As well as tracking the electronic well-file, prospect-file, license-file, field-file and prospect-file, E&P Catalog indexes metadata from other sources for an amalgamated high precision search. The system is integrated with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), full text search engines and spatial/Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
